The refuge Gian Federico Benevolo is located at the head of the Rhêmes Notre Dame Valley at the edge of the Gran Paradiso National Park. Easily accessible on foot in about 1h 45 min.

The Refuge Chalet de L’Epèe alt. mt. 2.370, is located in Valgrisenche at the foot of the Bouc valley, on the orographic right-hand side. It can be reached on foot in about 2 hours.
The Refuge degli Angeli is in Valgrisenche, at 2,916 m, at the foot of the Morion glacier, below the Testa del Rutor. It can be reached by a demanding route of about 3 hours.
Arvier is located at 750 m ed has a rich historical heritage consisting of the castle of La Mothe (late 1200s) and the medieval village of Leverogne located along the ancient roman road.
